You'll work directly with clients through home visits, energy conservation education, program intake, outreach activities, and weatherization support.\nWe're looking for someone who is compassionate, organized, curious, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. It's about helping people build stability and have a safe, warm place to call home.\nIf you're looking for a position where your work has a direct impact on the people you serve, we'd love to have you join our team.\nBecause Hope Changes Everything!\nResponsibilities:\nConduct in-home conservation education visits: implement low/no cost energy saving measures, assess home, identify measures to help clients conserve energy and save money\nAssist with home energy audits/inspections\nCreate/maintain/verify files, compile reports, and perform data analysis and data input responsibilities for multiple programs\nPlan and conduct outreach activities to identify and encourage clients to participate in HopeSource programs and promote energy conservation in the community\nConduct intakes to qualify clients\nProcess fiscal payments\nDevelop and distribute conservation education materials to clients and the public\nEvaluate program success through surveys and other feedback\nUse knowledge of programs, organization, and its members to assist weatherization staff with daily tasks\nOther duties as assigned\nMinimum Requirements:\nPhilosophical commitment to the mission and objectives of HopeSource\nAbility to communicate and work effectively with staff, low-income clients, and community members while maintaining professional/appropriate boundaries\nUnderstanding of diversity, equity and inclusion principles, with ability to work well with individuals from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds\nAbility to work independently and in team settings\nExceptional interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills\nAbility to communicate with clients in writing, conveying information that is error-free and understandable to all education levels\nAbility to maintain client confidentiality\nAbility to perform all required job duties while meeting daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines\nAbility to take initiative and ask questions when more direction is needed\nAbility to meet deadlines and follow through on assigned tasks\nMust demonstrate and maintain punctuality and consistent attendance\nAbility to learn new processes, procedures, and technology\nAbility to complete evaluations of client's home, including entering attics and crawlspaces.
