Collectively, we are a team of learn it alls, committed to a culture of respect, collaboration, ownership, and results.\nWhat You'll Do\nThe Senior Software Engineer on the Partner Integrations team plays a key technical role in how NodeZero connects to the security ecosystem. Our integrations with CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Splunk, ServiceNow, and dozens of other platforms are how customers turn NodeZero findings into action - they're not an afterthought, they're a core part of the product. You will design, build, and maintain integration architecture, contribute to reliability and observability standards, and work on key integration surfaces across the platform.\nThis is a hands-on senior engineering role. You will write production code, participate in architecture design, collaborate with peer engineers, and help solve complex integration challenges alongside team leadership. The team is building a portfolio of integrations on a shared framework - your job is to build on and enhance that framework to ensure every integration is reliable, maintainable, and seamless for our customers. This role reports to the Partner Integrations Engineering Manager.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, build, test, and maintain integrations between NodeZero and partner platforms, including security, SIEM, SOAR, and ITSM tools.\n\nOwn assigned integrations end to end-from understanding partner APIs and requirements through implementation, launch, and production support.\n\nImplement reliable integration patterns for authentication, event delivery, retries, idempotency, pagination, rate limits, schema mapping, and partial failures.\n\nContribute improvements to the shared integration framework, testing practices, documentation, and observability.\n\nMonitor and troubleshoot integrations in production; investigate issues, identify root causes, and deliver fixes that prevent recurrence.\n\nCollaborate with Product, Engineering, and partner technical teams to clarify requirements, resolve API questions, and communicate risks and progress.\n\nParticipate in design and code reviews, and help teammates improve through knowledge sharing and constructive feedback.\n\nWhat You'll Bring\nSeveral years of professional software engineering experience, including building and supporting production APIs, integrations, or backend services.\n\nProficiency in Go or Python and experience delivering maintainable, well-tested production code.\n\nPractical understanding of API integration patterns, such as OAuth 2.0 or API keys, webhooks, pagination, rate limiting, retries, idempotency, and schema evolution.\n\nExperience handling distributed-systems failure modes, including duplicate or delayed events, partial failures, and partner API changes.\n\nExperience using logs, metrics, alerts, and dashboards to understand and troubleshoot production systems.\n\nComfort working in cloud-native or containerized environments, such as AWS and Kubernetes.\n\nStrong collaboration skills: can work through ambiguity with partners and internal teams, explain technical tradeoffs, and follow through on commitments.\n\nInterest in improving shared systems and helping other engineers succeed, while remaining hands-on.\n\nNice to Haves\nHands-on experience with any of Horizon3's integration partners: CrowdStrike Falcon, SentinelOne, Splunk, ServiceNow, Jira, or similar enterprise security and ITSM platforms\n\nBackground in the cybersecurity ecosystem - understanding how SOC teams, MSSPs, and security engineers actually use the tools NodeZero integrates with\n\nExperience designing field-mapping schemas for cross-platform data translation\n\nFamiliarity with integration certification processes (vendor marketplace programs, partner API agreements)\n\nPerks of Horizon3\nInclusive Team: We value diversity and promote an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive.\n\nGrowth Opportunities: Be part of a dynamic and growing team with numerous career development opportunities.\n\nInnovative Culture: Work in a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and out-of-the-box thinking.\n\nHybrid & Remote Work: We embrace a mix of remote and hybrid work models depending on role and location, including our Chicago office, where some roles require regular in-office presence.\n\nCompetitive Compensation: We offer competitive salary, equity and benefits.
