Staff Product Manager, Platform

Our flagship product, the NodeZeroTM platform, delivers production-safe autonomous pentests and other key assessment operations that scale across the largest internal, external, cloud, and hybrid cloud environments. It is used by IT Ops/SecOps teams, consulting pentesters, and MSSPs and MSPs.

We are seeking a Senior or Staff Product Manager for Platform to lead our platform product portfolio that makes NodeZero enterprise-ready, extensible, and reliable at scale.
What You'll Do
You will work closely with the Sr. Director of Product and senior engineering leadership to define and execute the platform strategy that underpins every experience in our product.
You will be responsible for ensuring our platform is scalable, observable, secure, and supports current and future needs in offensive and defensive product areas. You will define and drive the platform capabilities that enable feature teams, partners, and customers to build, automate, and operate on top of NodeZero with confidence.
You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can move fluidly between strategic thinking and tactical execution, and is comfortable making decisions that impact multiple product lines.
You will partner cross-functionally with Engineering, SRE, Customer Success, Marketing, Support, Sales, and other Product leaders to deliver platform functionality that improves system stability, accelerates development, and unlocks enterprise and partner growth.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Product Strategy and Vision: Own the end-to-end product strategy for the NodeZero platform, with a focus on scalability, reliability, security, extensibility, and enterprise readiness. Ensure platform investments are tightly aligned with company objectives, revenue goals, and customer outcomes.
Roadmap and Portfolio Management: Develop and maintain a transparent, outcome-driven roadmap across your portfolio. Balance short-term needs with long-term strategic bets.
Cross-Functional Alignment and Delivery: Partner closely with Engineering, SRE, Marketing, Sales, Support, and Customer Success to define requirements, plan releases, and drive execution.
Metrics, Insights, and Experimentation: Define and track success metrics across platform reliability, performance, integration adoption, and enterprise feature utilization.
Voice of Customers and Partners: Engage directly with strategic customers and partners to understand needs, validate designs, and gather structured feedback.
What You'll Bring
5+ years of Product Management experience in B2B SaaS, with significant time spent on platform, infrastructure, or deeply technical products
Strong understanding of modern data platform concepts such as ETL or ELT pipelines, event-driven architectures, schema evolution, data modeling, orchestration, and platform abstractions
Ability to engage credibly with engineers on architectural trade-offs, scalability constraints, and implementation sequencing
Comfort working in technically deep environments where platform choices materially impact product velocity, customer experience, and system resilience
Strong systems thinking with the ability to connect runtime behavior, data flows, platform services, and end-user value
Deep understanding of SaaS architectures, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and multi-tenant platforms
Proven experience owning or materially influencing reliability and performance domains, including SLAs, SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and incident management practices
Excellent cross-functional leadership skills; able to partner effectively with Engineering, SRE, Marketing, Sales, Support, and Customer Success, and influence senior stakeholders
Data-driven decision making, with experience defining product and operational metrics and using insights to guide prioritization and iteration
Clear, confident communicator who can translate complex technical concepts into simple, actionable narratives for executives, customers, and internal teams
Comfort operating in Agile environments, managing backlogs, making trade-offs, and shipping iteratively in collaboration with distributed teams
Nice to Haves
Experience in cybersecurity, offensive security, security operations, exposure management, or adjacent domains
Familiarity with pentest workflows, security findings pipelines, or graph-oriented and runtime-heavy platform environments
Preferred Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
An advanced degree in engineering or business is preferred

Our compensation structure is designed to be fair, competitive, and transparent, ensuring that every team member is recognized and compensated equitably across roles, levels, and locations.
In accordance with various states’ transparency regulations, we provide the following salary range information for this position:
Base salary range: $194,000 - $265,000 annually annually. The exact salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s location, qualifications, experience, and relevant skills.
Additional compensation: All full-time roles are eligible for an equity package in the form of stock options.
