Let’s talk about you.\nAs a Senior Front End Developer (Single Page Applications), on Horizontal’s development team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams on multiple accounts focusing on delivering high quality technical solutions in the single page application space in addition to helping set a broader vision and path forward for the continued adoption of modern development practices across teams. You will execute high-quality technical solutions on time and on budget using modern development methods. You will help drive innovative and effective user experience through technology and evangelize common standards and best practices across the front-end team.\nWhat you’ll do:\nCollaborate with Horizontal Digital and/or client and project management teams, tech leads, architects, developers and designers on the implementation and development of enterprise Nextjs and React solutions including data, display, information architecture, and 3rd party platform integrations \nImplement platform specific solutions and SDKs involving Nextjs and React, specifically Sitecore, Drupal and potentially other platforms (like Contentful and Vercel) \nImplement project specifications using a mix of Nextjs and React core functionality, community modules, and custom developed modules that adhere to Nextjs and React community coding standards \nIdentify new technologies, frameworks, and processes that enhance our ability to deliver cutting edge solutions to our customers \nWhat you bring :\nThree or more years of experience \nThorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g., Requirements, Design, Development, Testing) and exposure to Agile or iterative SDLCs \nExpertise in the “back end of the front end”, specifically application and business logic, API and service integration, Consuming user interface code and working with user interface developers \nExpertise in JavaScript, React (or other similar libraries/frameworks), Node and front-end application development \nExpertise with front end tooling and package management (Webpack, npm, Gulp, etc) \nCompetent in other front-end technologies like HTML and CSS \nCompetence in semantic and accessible applications and presentation \nExperience working with WCAG 2.x AA guidelines and implementation \nExperience with version control tools (Git) and industry standard branching and merging practices \nEducation -
