For more information, visit www.hormelfoods.com.\nResponsibilities:\nManages team members by leading and executing plant processes.\nManages team members in attaining production and quality goals. \nEnsures appropriate resources (including materials, equipment, and staffing needs) are available to maintain production schedules. \nSupports continuous improvement processes to ensure that goals in safety, quality, cost, and customer service are met. \nCreates and maintains an engaged and team-oriented workforce to improve business results. \nTeam Leaders are usually “on their feet” in the production area about 80% of the shift. \nQualifications:\nRequired:\n1+ year as a shift leader, shift supervisor, assistant manager, etc. OR Associates Degree.\nProven leadership, persuasive, initiative, analytical, and communication skills are necessary for success in this position. \nApplicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa.\nApplicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer. \nMust be 18 years of age or older (all plant positions)\nPreferred:\n5+ years as a shift lead or shift supervisor in a manufacturing environment. \nTraining:\nApproximately six weeks are spent in a hands-on training environment before being assigned to a department. \nTeam Leaders attend a virtual new employee orientation.
