They will maintain high levels of cleanliness and safety, manage inventory, and provide exceptional service to both guests and crew.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities:\n Oversee the daily activities of the pier utility attendants, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and up to standard.\nProvide training and guidance to new and existing staff on proper procedures and safety protocols. Ensure all food and supplies are received, handled, and stored correctly, maintaining accurate records of temperature control, labeling, and dating. \nConfirm that all deliveries are complete and invoiced accurately, addressing any issues with suppliers, and coordinating with the BOH team leads to discrepancies. \nImplement and maintain cleaning schedules for the pier areas, ensuring all spaces are kept clean, safe, and sanitary. \nUphold the values of the Safety and Service System, ensuring both guests and crew experience a safe and welcoming environment. \nEnter and manage data in specified programs, maintaining accurate records for inventory and deliveries. \nBe prepared to begin work at the scheduled time.\nMaintain uniform and personal grooming in compliance with appearance standards. \nPerform additional tasks as assigned by management to support overall operations.\n\nOther Duties and Responsibilities \n Additional task assigned\n\nRequirements & Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nAt least two (2) years of previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.\nEnergetic and enthusiastic personality essential\nMust be detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to take direction.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively to guests, coworkers, and suppliers.\nMust possess a service orientation – actively looking for ways to help others.\nBasic computer skills required\nMicrosoft Office: Excel/ Word/ PowerPoint/ Outlook proficiency\nWill work for extended periods without sitting\nRequired to lift furniture and other heavy items up and down stairs\nWill be required to be available for work on major holidays\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to work onboard a moving vessel in varying weather and sea conditions, including maintaining balance and stability while underway.\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods, frequently throughout a shift.\nAbility to navigate stairs, ladders, narrow passageways, and confined spaces commonly found onboard vessels.\nAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull supplies, equipment, and inventory weighing up to 40 pounds independently.\nAbility to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach overhead, and perform repetitive motions as required in food service and hospitality operations.\nAbility to respond quickly and effectively during normal operations, guest service situations, and emergency procedures.\nAbility to safely work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to moving equipment, wet surfaces, temperature variations, and moderate noise levels.\nAbility to visually inspect service areas, food presentation, cleanliness standards, and safety conditions.\nAbility to communicate effectively with guests, crew members, and management in person and via radio or other communication devices.\nSuccessfully complete vessel-specific safety and emergency training.\nAbility to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as operational needs require.\nWork Environment:\nWork is performed primarily onboard a Coast Guard-inspected passenger vessel, with duties split between dining, service, storage, galley-adjacent, and administrative areas.\nPosition requires regular movement throughout multiple decks and may involve occasional exposure to outdoor marine environments, including heat, humidity, rain, wind, and sunlight.\nMust be able to safely perform duties while the vessel is docked or
