The Dishwasher will also contribute to general galley operations including receiving, storing and preparation of provisions.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nProvide exceptional hospitality to coworkers and guests.\nOperate dish machine; ensures all dishes are cleaned, organized, and stored appropriately.\nEnsure that the dishwasher is in proper working order; responsible for routine cleaning of equipment and refilling chemicals as needed.\nAssist in routine cleaning of galley including daily cleaning of equipment and implements, sanitizing food preparation surfaces, and mopping floors.\nStock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and buffets or food stations.\nReceive and store food and supplies using proper food handling techniques including stock rotation and monitoring temperatures of perishable products.\nMaintain uniform and personal grooming in compliance with appearance standards.\nAdditional job duties assigned.\n\nRequirements & Qualifications:\nWill work for extended periods without sitting.\nThe nature of the work may be strenuous, and the work environment may be warm.\nRequired to lift and move heavy items\nStrong customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills.\nMaintain a high level of organization, detailed oriented and meet deadlines.\nHandle multiple tasks/projects at one time.\nEstablish and maintain effective working relationships as required by job responsibility.\nListen effectively, assess the situation, determine relevant issues, & suggest solutions.\nHave a working knowledge of computer skills, including but not limited to proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites.\nMust be able to effectively understand and convey written and verbal information to coworkers and guests.\nMaintain uniform and personal grooming in compliance with appearance standards.\nWill be required to be available for work nights, weekends and on all major holidays.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to work onboard a moving vessel in varying weather and sea conditions, including maintaining balance and stability while underway.\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods, frequently throughout a shift.\nAbility to navigate stairs, ladders, narrow passageways, and confined spaces commonly found onboard vessels.\nAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull supplies, equipment, and inventory weighing up to 40 pounds independently.\nAbility to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach overhead, and perform repetitive motions as required in food service and hospitality operations.\nAbility to respond quickly and effectively during normal operations, guest service situations, and emergency procedures.\nAbility to safely work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to moving equipment, wet surfaces, temperature variations, and moderate noise levels.\nAbility to visually inspect service areas, food presentation, cleanliness standards, and safety conditions.\nAbility to communicate effectively with guests, crew members, and management in person and via radio or other communication devices.\nSuccessfully complete vessel-specific safety and emergency training.\nAbility to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as operational needs require.\nWork Environment\nWork is performed primarily onboard a Coast Guard-inspected passenger vessel, with duties split between dining, service, storage, galley-adjacent, and administrative areas.\nPosition requires regular movement throughout multiple decks and may involve occasional exposure to outdoor marine environments, including heat, humidity, rain, wind, and sunlight.\nMust be able to safely perform duties while the vessel is docked or
