Frontend Engineer (m/f/d)

Intro

The Hornetsecurity UX/UI department, composed of designers and developers, designs and develops the Hornetsecurity Group’s products as well as our Design System.

To continue transforming our products, creating new ones, and supporting team growth, we are looking for a Frontend Engineer to join and complete our team.

Your Job

Your main responsibilities within the team

• Contribute to the team’s technical roadmap, aligned with the company’s cross-functional needs

• Provide technical guidance to other developers on strategic and complex topics

• Support the promotion of technical improvements within the team and the company

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our automated test suite alongside the QA team

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, backend developers, and QA to design and develop new products

• Microfrontends based on Module Federation supporting Angular & Vue.js

• JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript

• Tailwind, SASS

• Vitest, Cypress

• GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes, Vite

Your Profile

• One or more relevant experiences on microfrontend projects

• Strong skills in HTML, CSS & JavaScript

• Extensive knowledge of Web APIs and CSS features, including browser support

• Solid experience with frameworks such as Angular, Vue, or React, especially in Module Federation contexts

• Good understanding of testing frameworks, accessibility standards, and best practices (a11y)

• Fluent English, to collaborate effectively with international colleagues

• Experience working on a Design System is a plus
