You'll work in a technically demanding environment where performance, scalability, reliability, and security matter. From improving existing systems to designing new services, you'llhave the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful engineering challenges and influence how our products evolve.

Full-time hybrid in Hanover.

Your Job

• Take technical ownershipof existing and new applications or services within our cybersecurity product ecosystem.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainablesoftware solutions.
• Lead and contribute to architectural decisionsand help shape long-term technical direction.
• Collaborate cross-functionallywith other developers, product management, system engineers, UX/UI, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Mentor and support Junior Developers, fostering best practices and continuous improvement.
• Work across multiple products, contributing to new features, improvements, and long-term maintenance.

Your Profile

• 5+ yearsof professional experience as a Software Developer, with a strong focus on backend development.
• Strong Pythonexperience, experience with Java or Go is a plus.
• Experience designing, operating, and optimizing relational or non-relational databases. Experience with Elasticsearch, SQL databases, or Redisis especially relevant.

• Comfortable working in UNIX-based environments, especially Linux.
• Strong experience building and maintaining scalable, high-quality software within complex, distributed systems.
• Strong analytical skills, structured thinking, and a high sense of ownership.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Nice-to-haves

Experience in any of the following areas would be useful, but you don't need to tickevery box.

• Experience with designing and maintaining systems hosted on-premises.
• Basic DevOps skills and experience with Ansible.
• Experience in cybersecurity or email software.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted or agent-based development workflows.
• Basic Angular knowledge.
