Learn more at Planful.com.\nAbout the RoleWe’re seeking a self-motivated Renewals professional to manage Planful’s customer retention initiatives. This person will be responsible for creating and maintaining healthy customer relationships and will lead the commercial aspect of the renewal process.\nThe Renewals Manager is an integral part of Planful’s Customer team and will collaborate closely with our Account Managers, Customer Success team, and senior leadership to ensure the long-term success of Planful’s customers. \nResponsibilities:\nManage the entirety of renewals process, including negotiation and ownership of commercial contracts\n\nCollaborate with Sales and Customer Success to identify risks and ensure timely renewals\n\nAnalyze usage patterns and customer health metrics to preempt churn risks\n\nEngage proactively with customers ahead of renewal dates to assess satisfaction, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for growth\n\nMaintain accurate renewal forecasts using tools like Salesforce and Clari\n\nConsistently exceed quarterly and annual retention goals\n\nWhat you Bring to the Table\nExperience managing SaaS or enterprise-software renewals, customer relationships, or commercial negotiations.\n\nA track record of achieving retention, sales, or other commercial targets.\n\nAbility to independently manage complex negotiations and balance customer needs with business objectives.\n\nStrong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\n\nSound judgment, ownership, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving risk.\n\nComfort working with CRM, forecasting tools, and customer data.\n\nA collaborative mindset and willingness to mentor peers and improve team processes.\n\nKnowledge of finance or FP&A is a plus.\n\nWhy Planful To foster the best in class work we’re so proud of, we’ve created a best in class culture, including:\n2 Volunteer days per year, Birthday PTO, and quarterly company Wellness Days\n\n3 months supply of diapers and meal deliveries for the first month of your Maternity/Paternity leave and generous parental leave\n\nTalkspace access and mental health support\n\nAnnual company-wide gatherings held in cities like San Diego, Denver, Palm Springs, and Vegas!\n\nOffice hubs in San Francisco, Toronto, and London.
