We’d love you to be part of the journey.\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for Junior Systems Administrator with a solid foundation in Linux and an interest in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to join our global Monitoring team.\nThis is a hands-on technical role focused on maintaining and improving our infrastructure monitoring systems, ensuring visibility in server performance, availability, and overall infrastructure health across our hosting environments.\nThe role combines Linux systems administration with an SRE approach to infrastructure operations, focusing on proactive monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, and automation to support the reliability and performance of our services.\nYou will work closely with our experienced engineers to identify and resolve technical issues, improve monitoring processes, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our infrastructure. This is an opportunity to further develop your technical expertise while gaining practical experience in a collaborative, reliability-focused environment.\nWhat You’ll Do\nMaintain and support Linux-based servers and infrastructure monitoring tools. \nContinuously monitor on-premises infrastructure to ensure system availability, performance and reliability. \nApply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to support proactive monitoring, incident response and continuous improvement. \nIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues affecting servers, web services, and infrastructure. \nMonitor system alerts, investigate potential issues, and follow appropriate escalation procedures when required. \nCollaborate with senior engineers and other technical teams to resolve incidents and minimize service disruption. \nSupport the achievement of service-level agreements (SLAs) by helping address critical issues and maintain service availability. \nDevelop and maintain scripts to automate routine operational and monitoring tasks. \nContribute to technical documentation, monitoring procedures, and operational knowledge sharing. \nHelp improve monitoring processes, alerting, and overall infrastructure reliability. \nRequirements\nWhat You’ll Bring\nAt least two years of hands-on Linux systems administration experience, with good knowledge of RHEL-based, Ubuntu or similar Linux distributions.\nExperience working with web servers such as LiteSpeed, Apache and/or NGINX. \nScripting skills in Bash, Python, Perl or similar languages, with an interest in automating routine tasks. \nUnderstanding networking fundamentals, including DNS, HTTP and TCP/IP.\nGood troubleshooting skills and a proactive, methodical approach to identifying and resolving technical issues. \nGood communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers and other technical teams. \nFamiliarity, or a strong interest in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, including system monitoring, incident management, reliability and automation. \nFluent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. \nNice to Have\nExperience/Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, or Zabbix.\nKnowledge of web hosting technologies, including cPanel, Plesk, MySQL, and PHP.\nExposure configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Salt.\nFamiliarity with virtualization (KVM, Xen) or containers (Docker, LXC).\nBenefits\nPrivate health insurance. \nMultiSport card. \nMonthly food vouchers. \nTeam activities that bring us together. \nHands-on experience in a global hosting environment, with opportunities to develop technical skills, and build a strong foundation for long-term career growth. \nAccess to our learning platform, with a wide range of courses and resources to support your professional development, explore new interests, and expand your knowledge beyond your current role. \nWhy You'll Love It Here\nBe part of something bigger:Join a global team with a shared ambition to become the world's most trusted hosting company.
