And help us build something better, together.\nRequirements\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our global Infrastructure team.\nThis is a varied, hands-on technical role encompassing hardware and infrastructure deployment, server management, incident resolution, and the development of internal tools and systems that support our business and customers.\nYou will also act as a subject-matter expert across technologies such as cPanel, Plesk and virtualisation, helping to improve the reliability, scalability, security and automation of our hosting infrastructure.\nA strong working knowledge of systems automation and configuration management, preferably using Ansible, is essential.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDeploy, configure, maintain and troubleshoot Linux-based hosting infrastructure. \nManage virtualised environments using technologies such as KVM and Proxmox. \nDevelop and maintain automated configuration-management and server-provisioning solutions. \nBuild and improve internal tools and systems that support operational and business requirements. \nMonitor infrastructure performance, availability and capacity, identifying and resolving issues proactively \nTroubleshoot complex incidents across servers, databases, web services, networks and hosting-control panels. \nAct as a subject-matter expert in one or more areas \nProactively maintain our systems - contribute to infrastructure improvements that enhance reliability, scalability, security and operational efficiency \nCreate and maintain clear technical documentation. \nCollaborate effectively with Infrastructure, Support and other technical teams across the business. \nParticipate in an on-call rota where required. \nWhat You’ll Bring\nLinux systems administration across RHEL-based and Debian-based distributions. \nBash scripting. \nAt least five years’ professional experience in Linux systems administration. \nVirtualisation technologies, particularly KVM and Proxmox. \nConfiguration management, automation and server-provisioning tools, particularly Ansible; experience with AWX or Salt is also valuable. \nRelational databases, particularly MariaDB and MySQL \nWeb servers, including Apache, LiteSpeed and/or NGINX. \nDiagnosing and resolving complex technical and operational issues. \nStrong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work. \nFluent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical colleagues. \nNice to Have / Preferred Qualifications\nContainer technologies such as Docker or Podman. \nProgramming or scripting using Python, PHP or Go. \nAdditional virtualisation technologies, such as Xen and Hyper-V. \nHardware and software RAID configuration and troubleshooting. \nWindows systems administration, including IIS, Microsoft DNS and PowerShell. \nBenefits\nPrivate health insurance and a MultiSport card.\nMonthly food vouchers.\nRegular team-building events and social activities.\nModern office environment.\nAccess to our learning platform, with resources to support your continuous learning and professional development.\nWhy You’ll Love It Here\nBe part of a global, purpose-driven team building one of the world’s most trusted hosting companies \nFast-moving and agile environment - we are energetic, we hustle, and we move at pace \nA culture that values ownership, accountability, and shared success \nOur Values\nBe Pragmatic.
