Connect with your team: Justinas Prelgauskas, VP of Engineering\nYour day-to-day\nTake ownership of the end-to-end process, from architecture and design to development, deployment, and continuous operation of solutions crafted by your team of developers.\n\nLead, grow, and hire the team: meaningful 1:1s, growth plans, regular performance evaluations and constructive feedback sessions - while keeping the hiring bar high by interviewing candidates yourself.\n\nActively participate in planning, estimation, and roadmap discussions, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.\n\nCollaborate closely with the Head of Product, Product Managers, Tech-Lead, and Marketing to facilitate the timely delivery of initiatives, emphasizing a balance between innovation and efficiency.\n\nOwn delivery discipline: predictable execution, fast release cycles (preview environments, CI/CD), and a backlog that shrinks instead of grows.\n\nDrive web performance and technical SEO as first-class engineering goals - Core Web Vitals, edge caching, SSR/hreflang for 30+ locales, code splitting, lazy hydration.\n\nRun experimentation together with product and marketing: A/B testing infrastructure, analytics (GA4/Amplitude), and CRO work measured in conversion - not story points.\n\nAssume responsibility for the stability and reliability of the product, implementing observability measures (Sentry, Prometheus/Grafana) to enhance performance and user experience.\n\nConduct thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to efficient code engineering practices and maintaining a high standard of code quality - and stay hands-on in the codebase yourself.\n\nAccelerate AI adoption in the team: agentic coding workflows, AI-assisted tooling, and LLM-powered product features, drive Websites AI-readiness initiatives forward.\n\nCultivate a collaborative environment that encourages teamwork and knowledge sharing, leveraging the diverse skills within the team.\n\nWhat will help you succeed\nYou are a self-starter who is not afraid to challenge the status quo.\n\nLeadership experience, either as a team lead or manager - hiring, mentoring, and performance management included.\n\nA track record of improving team delivery: throughput, predictability, or time-to-ship on a previous team.\n\nExperience with high-traffic, multi-locale consumer web products - landing pages, website builders, e-commerce, or content platforms.\n\nExtensive JavaScript/TypeScript experience and strong knowledge of at least one modern framework (bonus points for Vue and Nuxt with SSR).\n\nStrong understanding of app state management (Redux, NgRx, bonus points for Vuex and Pinia).\n\nFluency in web performance (Core Web Vitals), technical SEO, and analytics/experimentation tooling (GA4, Amplitude, A/B testing).\n\nStrong understanding and experience in designing system architectures.\n\nExperience in HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and the Git versioning system.\n\nUnderstanding of proper code design, unit testing, and end-to-end testing practices and tools.\n\nHands-on daily use of AI/agentic engineering tools and eagerness to spread those practices.\n\nStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.\n\nBusiness-impact mindset - you talk in conversion, revenue, and user outcomes.\n\nTeam-spirited, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.\n\n“Embracing the unknown” is a concept that doesn’t intimidate you.\n\nBonus: backend/full-stack competence (Node.js/NestJS), infrastructure literacy (Kubernetes, Terraform, GCP/AWS, Cloudflare), or experience building LLM-powered features.\n\nBenefits you'll love\n360° Growth: You'll never stop learning here.
