The team keeps more than 1,600 bare-metal hosting servers across 16+ data centres healthy and covers the Asia-Pacific daytime window of our 24/7 global rotation, working hand in hand with the Lithuanian and Brazilian SysAdmin teams.\nThis is a hands-on technical leadership role. About half of your time stays technical: you operate, debug and ship alongside your engineers. The other half goes into your people: hiring, coaching, protecting the team's health and setting them up to succeed.\nYou own the team's shift coverage and incident response, but you are not personally on rotation or on-call. Connect with your team:Teodoras Celencevičius\nYour day-to-day\nLead the Indonesian Web Hosting SysAdmin team and own its shift coverage: you design the rotation, you are not on it;\n\nOwn incident response in your window: acknowledgement, customer communication, postmortems and follow-up within SLA;\n\nAct as the sysadmin escalation point for Customer Success on complex hosting and security cases;\n\nStay hands-on across a fleet running CloudLinux, LiteSpeed, cPanel/WHM and MariaDB: diagnose, optimise and fix;\n\nDeliver long-term engineering and automation with Ansible/AWX, Prometheus and Grafana that removes repetitive shift work;\n\nDrive AI adoption in operations: automated ticket resolution, AI-assisted diagnosis and faster runbooks;\n\nHire, onboard and coach; run weekly reporting, team KPIs and quarterly performance reviews;\n\nCoordinate daily with the Lithuanian and Brazilian SysAdmin teams, WH engineering and product, and make the final technical call when the team needs one.\n\nWhat will help you succeed\nYou have 3+ years supporting enterprise-scale Linux environments, including database and web-server performance tuning;\n\nYou have 1+ years leading or mentoring an engineering or sysadmin team, ideally one that runs shifts or on-call;\n\nYou have hands-on experience with the web hosting stack: cPanel/WHM, LiteSpeed, Apache or Nginx, MariaDB/MySQL, CloudLinux (LVE, CageFS);\n\nYou understand on-premises / bare-metal infrastructure;\n\nYou are comfortable with security hardening and malware response on shared hosting (Imunify360, Monarx or similar);\n\nYou script and automate: Bash or Python, Ansible;\n\nYou have hired before and know what a strong sysadmin looks like in an interview;\n\nYour English skills are C1 - C2;\n\nYou are a constant learner who loves Linux and cares about uptime, people and clean processes.\n\nMeet your team\nThe Web Hosting SysAdmin team keeps the infrastructure behind Hostinger's hosting services healthy, stable, and ready to support millions of customers worldwide.
