Hotel Kitchen Assistant \n\nLocation: Berger, Lagos\n\nEmployment Type: Full-time\n\nJob Summary\n\nThe Kitchen Assistant supports the kitchen team in daily food preparation and kitchen operations.\nThe role involves maintaining cleanliness, assisting chefs, and ensuring hygiene standards are met.\nTraining will be provided, so prior experience is not compulsory.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nEnsure proper hygiene and food safety standards are followed.\nAssist chefs with basic food preparation (washing, peeling, cutting ingredients).\nAssist in setting up the kitchen before service and cleaning up after service.\nSupport smooth kitchen operations at all times.\nKeep the kitchen clean, including washing utensils, dishes, and kitchen equipment.\nHelp with arranging and storing food items and supplies.\nFollow instructions from chefs and kitchen supervisors.\nDispose of waste properly and keep work areas tidy.\n\nRequirements / Qualifications\n\nPhysically fit and able to stand for long hours.\nMinimum of SSCE (preferred but not compulsory)with 0-1 year experience.\nAbility to follow instructions and work as part of a team.\nHonest, punctual, and hardworking.\nWillingness to learn and take corrections.\nGood personal hygiene and cleanliness.\nExperience is not compulsory – training will be provided.\n\nSkills & Competencies:\n\nTime
