Junior Accountant\n\nLocation: Ojodu Berger, Lagos\n\nEmployment Type: Full-time\n\nJob Summary\n\nThe successful candidate will assist with maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting procedures and applicable regulations.\nWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to support the finance and accounting functions of the organization.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAssist with payroll preparation and related accounting entries.\nAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.\nMonitor outstanding receivables and payables.\nPrepare and process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial documents.\nPerform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.\nIdentify discrepancies and assist in resolving accounting issues.\nPerform other finance and accounting duties assigned by the supervisor.\nAssist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.\nSupport the preparation of audit schedules and provide requested documentation.\nMaintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.\nRecord and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records.\nEnsure accounting records comply with company policies and applicable accounting standards.\nAssist with budgeting, expense monitoring, and financial analysis.\n\nRequirements and Qualifications\n\nMust have completed NYSC.\nGood communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality of financial information.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nGood organizational and time-management skills.\nKnowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.\nBachelor’s degree/HND in Accounting.\nProximity to work location ogba,ojodu berger,ikeja,akute,agege,ojota axis.\nGood numerical and analytical skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.\n1–3 years of relevant accounting
