Senior QA Automation Engineer

We're hiring someone who treats AI agents as collaborators, building Playwright suites, designing autonomous test agents, and shaping QA for an agent-driven SDLC where manual testing is the exception, not the norm.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-end Playwright automation (UI + API) across backend services.
• Daily-driver use of Claude Code agents, skills, MCP servers to generate test cases, test data & edge cases straight from requirements/PRs.
• Design AI agents that own SDLC slices: PR-triggered test design, autonomous regression triage, release sign-off.
• Build custom Claude skills/MCP servers integrating QA with Jira, CI/CD, ScyllaDB/Kafka, observability tools.
• AI-driven defect prediction, flaky test detection, root cause analysis.
• SQL-based data validation across transactional & analytical systems.

Requirements;

• 5+ years QA, automation-first mindset (not manual-first).
• Strong hands-on Playwright (or Cypress) UI + API automation.
• Proficiency in JS/TypeScript + Postman/Insomnia.
• Working fluency with Claude Code / Cursor / Copilot for test generation & review.
• Solid grasp of AI/ML fundamentals, prompt engineering, context management, and evaluating LLM output reliability.
• Knowledge of SQL, CI tooling (GitHub Actions/Jenkins), Agile/Scrum.
• Comfort treating AI agents as first-class collaborators, knowing when to trust, verify, or override.

Bonus points:

• Built MCP servers or custom Claude skills/tools.
• Experience with agentic test orchestration.
• Measured AI-assisted productivity metrics (test velocity, coverage uplift, defect escape rate).
• Background in distributed systems / event-driven architecture / B2B SaaS.
