MUST have service writer or rental car experience.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nEnsures proper safety policies and procedures are in place and followed, including monitoring MVR records for fleet drivers.\nPerform MVR records search using the approved background program.\nEnsures department compliance with safety and environmental regulations.\nMonitors expenditures; prepares and maintains various records and files; prepares reports.\nMaintain comprehensive understanding of all DOT/DMV regulations effecting JP Thomas and vehicle operations.\nReview fuel and maintenance transactions to ensure compliance with company policy and identify emerging trends and corrective actions.\nConduct vehicle inspections alongside field managers.\nMaintain primary responsibility for scheduling and final assessment of vehicle condition.\nProcess, monitor, and communicate as appropriate registration/ titling issues with fleet team members.\nIdentify deficiencies in tools and equipment.\nFacilitate vehicle maintenance.\nHandle internal vehicle transfers among employees.\nMonitor and report on vehicles through the telematics system.\nAdminister and communicate data in the company vehicle database.\nMonitor fuel consumption via the online portal system.\nEnsure company vehicle policy compliance.\nReview all equipment, repair, and maintenance documentation.\nAssist with fleet toll/parking/moving violations as needed.\nMaintain responsibility for physical GPS install/ swap.\nOther duties as required or assigned.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\n To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
