Node.js Fullstack Developer

This is a Swiss Army Knife role one that sits at the intersection of strategy, growth, analytics, and product. You'll work directly with the CEO as a leader, thought partner and execution enabler, influencing the direction of the company at every level. As one of the founding members. You'll help put the right stones in the right places, ensuring the company is built thoughtfully and aggressively.

Responsibilities:

• Hands-On Coding (50%): Own full-stack epics/features end-to-end(React/Node/Postgres stack) from ideation to production.
• Technical Leadership (20%): Guide architecture decisions, system design, DevOps(CI/CD, GCP, Kubernetes), and infosec (auth, encryption, SOC2 basics).
• Mentoring and Code Quality (15%): Conduct code reviews for 80%+ of PRs, pair-program with juniors/mids, run tech syncs to the upskill team.
• Hiring and Team Building (5%): Screen candidates, lead technical interviews, and contribute to scaling the team.
• Product Strategy (10%): Collaborate with the CEO/Product Manager on roadmapprioritization, effort estimation, and refinement.

Requirements:

• 8-12 years full-stack experience; prior Series A/B startup exposure essential.
• Expertise: Modern JS stack (React/Next.js, Node/Express), databases (Postgres), cloudinfra, DevOps tools.
• Proven mentoring: Helped juniors grow; comfortable with mixed-skill teams.
• Soft skills: Startup hustle, CEO collaboration, clear communication. Indian startup ecosystem knowledge is a plus.
• Bonus: ESOP/compliance domain familiarity, Principal/Staff Engineer background.
