Keep reading to learn more about the role, our team and why House Rx is the right next step in your career.\nAbout the Role\nAs a Senior QA Engineer, you will own and improve the automation that helps House Rx deliver well-tested software. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams on sustainable testing practices and periodically work with support to triage client-facing production issues.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn automation systems and QA work from project kickoff through release, maintenance, and improvement.\nWrite meaningful unit, component, API, and browser tests, choosing the right layer for each risk.\nBuild repeatable fixtures and isolated test data to verify workflow behavior and data integrity.\nPartner with developers and product managers on testability, acceptance criteria, and shared testing practices.\nDiagnose CI failures, improve unreliable tests, and report coverage, failures, and remaining risk clearly.\nUse AI-assisted development to accelerate your work while independently validating generated code and assertions.\nHelp monitor system health and turn production issues into useful regression coverage.\nAbout You\nDemonstrated senior-level ownership of test automation or software engineering work.\nExperience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React applications.\nExperience with Jest, Playwright, or comparable modern test frameworks.\nAble to use SQL to investigate data issues and verify persisted behavior in PostgreSQL or a similar database.\nDemonstrated AI-assisted development experience and a clear approach to verifying generated work.\nExperience diagnosing CI and production issues using logs and tools such as Sentry or Grafana.\nAn awareness that we succeed and fail together, with initiative and clear communication across teams.\nExpected Full-Time Base Salary: $130K - $150K\nThis range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary/wage. The actual base salary/wage will depend on several factors, including experience, knowledge, and skills.
