This money is available for tuition loan reimbursement, tuition costs, and text books.\nOverview:\nReporting to the SVP of Finance, the Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and decision support across Housing Works and its affiliated entities. This role partners with operational and executive leadership to evaluate financial performance across healthcare services, government grants and contracts, retail operations, housing programs, social services, cannabis operations, and administrative departments. The Financial Analyst develops financial models, pro formas, valuations, cash flow forecasts, and business cases that support operational decision-making, strategic growth initiatives, acquisitions, and long-term financial sustainability. The ideal candidate combines strong quantitative skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.\nResponsibilities:\nFinancial Planning & AnalysisPrepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.\nMonitor organizational performance against budget and identify key revenue, expense, and operational variances.\nDevelop monthly financial reporting packages and dashboards for executive leadership.\n\nDepartment Revenue & Spending AnalysisPerform detailed financial analysis of departmental revenues, expenses, staffing costs, productivity metrics, and program performance.\nPartner with department leaders to identify revenue enhancement opportunities and cost containment strategies.\nAnalyze financial performance across:Healthcare and FQHC operations\nGovernment grants and contracts o Retail and thrift store operations\nHousing programs\nSocial service programs\nCannabis operations\nAdministrative and support departments\n\nEvaluate program profitability, contribution margins, and cost allocation methodologies.\n\nForecasting & Financial ModelingDevelop complex financial models and multi-year forecasts.\nPrepare pro forma financial statements for new programs, service expansions, capital projects, and strategic initiatives.\nConduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess financial risks and opportunities.\nSupport business planning and investment decisions through data-driven financial analysis.\n\nCash Flow & Liquidity ManagementPrepare and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts.\nAnalyze working capital, accounts receivable trends, liquidity metrics, and financing needs.\nAssist in treasury management activities, including investment analysis and debt management.\nMonitor organizational cash position and provide recommendations to optimize liquidity.\n\nStrategic Finance & Corporate DevelopmentBuild valuation models and financial analyses related to acquisitions, affiliations, partnerships, and corporate restructuring initiatives.\nSupport due diligence activities for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic transactions.\nEvaluate potential investments, growth opportunities, and business ventures.\nPrepare financial presentations and recommendations for executive leadership and the Board of Directors.\n\nReimbursement & Revenue AnalysisMonitor reimbursement trends related to Medicaid, Medicare, managed care, commercial insurance, and other third-party payers.\nEvaluate payer performance, reimbursement rates, and collections metrics.\nSupport revenue cycle optimization and reimbursement modeling initiatives.\n\nReporting & Executive SupportPrepare Board, Finance Committee, lender, and executive-level presentations.\nTranslate complex financial data into actionable recommendations.\nSupport month-end and year-end financial analysis processes.
