(HEI) will spend time in the field working on outdoor construction phase activities as well as a variety of in-office projects assisting engineers. Structural engineering projects range from complex grade separation projects and large bridges spanning a river with architectural enhancements to box culverts for a rural township over a small ditch.\nWe are seeking a Graduate Engineer to join our Structural team in our Fargo office. This role is intended for an individual with 0-3 years of prior experience in structural engineering.\nStructural engineering projects range from complex grade separation projects and large bridges spanning a river with architectural enhancements to box culverts for a rural township over a small ditch. The structural engineers have also designed a variety of hydraulic structures such as dams, floodwalls, gate wells, and some of the most complex lift stations in the region!\n Assist with plan specifications and estimates as well as documenting construction activities.\nAssist with AutoCAD Civil 3D drawings and update redlines with various project set drawings.\nOperate electronic survey instruments such as GPS and Total Station.\nPerform work in a variety of software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, ArcGIS, etc.\nPotential observation and data collection at different types of project sites.\nAssist with research, development and design of projects.\n Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering \n0-3 years of experience in Civil Engineering \nProficiency with Microsoft Office.\nFamiliarity with AutoCAD or Civil 3D and ArcGIS is helpful.\nStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with project team members, and clients.\nSuperior task management skills, including scheduling, prioritizing, following up, and keeping project information organized.\nSuperior problem solving and analytical skills.\n Benefits of Joining HEI\nAs part of our talented staff, you will enjoy competitive pay, annual bonuses, paid health, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long-term disability, paid time off, paid holidays;
