Analyst provides supplemental support and collaborates with personnel responsible for specific functions or phases of programs.\n Assist schools with monitoring the implementation of the applicable program model to increase the level of student achievement.\nAssist campuses with parent engagement activities for Emergent Bilingual learners. \nAssist schools with monitoring the implementation of the applicable program model to increase the level of student achievement.\nSupports LPACs and campuses with initial identification of Emergent Bilingual students \nOther duties as assigned\n Bachelor's degree\n*Applicants with a unique combination of education and work experience that do not match these exact requirements may be considered.\nMinimum of 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze complex data sets.\nProficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python, SPSS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).\nSolid understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies, such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and data modeling.\nExperience with database querying languages (e.g., SQL) and data manipulation tools.\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex data and findings to non-technical stakeholders.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.\nProficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas.\nKnowledge of data governance and data management best practices.\nFamiliarity with data visualization best practices and the ability to create visually compelling and informative reports.\nStrong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a curious mindset and a passion for uncovering insights from data.\nExperience in the education sector or related fields is a plus.\nCommitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive data with discretion.\nNo supervisory or direct people management responsibilities. May provide occasional work guidance, technical advice and training to staff.\nWork involves the application of moderately complex procedures and tasks that are quite varied. Independent judgment is often required to select and apply the most appropriate of available resources. Ongoing supervision is provided on an \"as needed\" basis.\nDecisions are made on both routine and non-routine matters with some latitude, but are still subject to approval. Job is occasionally expected to recommend new solutions to problems and improve existing methods or generate new ideas.\nFollows rules and procedures. Decisions can have minimal or no impact to HISD.
