The position entails assisting, training and supporting customers and junior analysts with the operation and administration of systems. The Sr. Application Analyst trains and mentors more junior analysts. This position works with customers at all levels in the organization to enhance their understanding of available tools to enhance operational efficiencies. The Sr. Application Analyst position proactively manages and troubleshoots issues within related IT teams and manages change. This position provides high-level administration of applications and ensures quality delivery of application availability. The Sr. Application Analyst position ensures the services provided contribute to the successful accomplishment of the mission of the department. This position makes recommendations regarding budget projections and project management. The Lead Application Analyst plays a key leadership role in supporting day-to-day operations, managing work distribution, maintaining team standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position partners closely with management and senior leadership to execute strategic objectives, facilitate change management activities, and cultivate a high-performing team environment. The Lead Application Analyst ensures application services align with organizational goals and contribute to the successful achievement of departmental and enterprise objectives.\n\nFLSA STATUSExempt\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEDUCATION\n Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related field or experience working as a licensed clinical or certified IT professional; an additional four years experience in addition to the experience listed below in lieu of Bachelors or licensed clinical or certified IT professional experience \nEXPERIENCE\n Five years’ experience in IT or clinical or business workflow \n Experience supporting large scale clinical, ancillary or business environments \nLICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS\nRequired\n Certification if appropriate to assigned application. Implements and supports large, complex applications with technical experience in systems analysis, design, building, testing, and implementation. \nCommunicates potential project and implementation issues, plans for resolution, and produces status updates to all stakeholders including customers and Management. \nCreates custom solutions or advanced configuration options to solve operational or workflow issues. \nEmployees in Sr. Application Analyst Certified positions are prohibited from engaging in any outside employment, consulting, contracting, or advisory work for any healthcare organization, technology vendor, or consulting firm that uses, supports, implements, or evaluates the Epic EHR system. This restriction applies during active employment to protect confidential system architecture, proprietary build, workflow design, and protected health information.
