By leveraging deep Workday expertise, this role drives process efficiency, maximizes platform capabilities, and supports strategic initiatives that enhance operational performance and employee experience.\n\nFLSA STATUSExempt\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEDUCATION\n Bachelor's degree required or four additional years of experience required in lieu of degree \nEXPERIENCE\n Five years IT experience to include three years in senior level engineer, analyst or consultant role. Houston Methodist Workday project team member plus two additional years of demonstrated progressive responsibility satisfies all experience requirements \n 3 years of experience in ERP integration \n Experience with Workday, Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services \n Experience integrating Workday with third-party systems preferred \nLICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS\nPreferred\nAWS-CSA - Certified Solution Architect (AWS) or\nMCAF - Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals (Microsoft) or\nCertified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) \nKNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES\nDemonstrates the skills and competencies necessary to safely perform the assigned job, determined through ongoing skills, competency assessments, and performance evaluations \nSufficient proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing the English language necessary to perform the essential functions of this job, especially with regard to activities impacting patient or employee safety or security \nAbility to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members and co-workers in a manner consistent with a customer service focus and application of positive language principles \nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nPEOPLE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nCollaborates with business and IT teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver effective Workday solutions. \nProvides technical guidance and training to peers and end users on Workday functionality, integrations, and reporting. \nBuilds strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure aligned priorities and efficient problem resolution. \nSERVICE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nConfigures, tests, and deploys Workday enhancements, integrations, and security updates in alignment with organizational standards. \nMonitors and supports Workday integrations, ensuring data accuracy and timely processing across connected systems. \nProvides tier-2/3 support for Workday technical issues, resolving incidents within defined SLAs. \nQUALITY/SAFETY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nEnsures compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements through rigorous testing and governance. \nDevelops and maintains technical documentation, including system diagrams, configuration standards, and integration mappings. \nExecutes structured testing protocols for all Workday changes to validate performance, usability, and accuracy prior to release. \nFINANCE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nIdentifies opportunities to leverage native Workday functionality to reduce reliance on third-party tools and associated costs. \nSupports optimization of licensing and integration costs through system rationalization and effective vendor management. \nMonitors resource usage and performance to ensure efficient allocation of technical support efforts. \nGROWTH/INNOVATION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nResearches and recommends new Workday features and innovations aligned with business strategy and platform roadmap. \nPartners with business units to design scalable Workday solutions that enable process automation and improved user experience. \nChampions continuous improvement by analyzing system performance, identifying gaps, and implementing enhancements \nSUPPLEMENTAL REQUIREMENTS\n WORK ATTIREUniform: No \nScrubs: No \nBusiness professional: Yes \nOther (department approved): No \nON-CALL*\n*Note that employees may be required to be on-call during emergencies (ie.
