Skills in illustration, animation, or spatial design are a plus.\nWhat You’ll Do\nTake ideas from concept through final handoff alongside creatives, technologists, producers, and leadership.\nDevelop original design directions and refine work within established brand guidelines and visual centers.\nCombine conceptual thinking with strong craft and attention to detail while being responsible for the completeness of your work.\nAdapt to different brand styles and visual directions, spotting opportunities for unexpected interactive, environmental, or animation outputs.\nFind outside inspiration, and bring new thinking and ideas into the studio.\nWhat We’re Looking For\n5+ years of experience in a similar role\nProficiency in Figma and/or Adobe Creative Cloud\nStrong portfolio showing solid fundamentals, attention to detail, inventive design thinking and high-level execution in brand experience work\nA collaborative team player that is highly motivated, pro-active and positive.\nExcellent organization and time management skills to meet deadlines across multiple projects in a remote work setting.\nIllustration, animation or spatial design side hustles\nThe total average salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000 annually, plus comprehensive benefits. Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications assessed during the interview process (such as skills and prior industry experience, potential impact), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified.\nHovercraft is a remote-first company, working primarily on Pacific and Mountain time.
