Will you be one of them?\nYou will be responsible to:\nDefine and implement Quality Control (QC) techniques to ensure the quality of raw materials, intermediates, finished products, and analytical services in compliance with GMP, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.Execute, manage, and support analytical projects, ensuring timely, safe, compliant, and cost-effective delivery.Perform and coordinate analytical activities including:Method development\nMethod creation and transfer\nMethod validation\nProtocol preparation\nReport preparation\nPropose and implement new analytical methodologies based on project requirements.Troubleshoot analytical issues, conduct investigations, and escalate complex problems when required.Review and verify analytical data, documentation, and work generated by the team to ensure compliance with procedures and quality standards.Investigate deviations, incidents, and CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions).Act as a liaison between QC, internal stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams.Support onboarding, training, and development of new team members.Perform equipment maintenance, calibration, and qualification activities.Maintain laboratory records, notebooks, logbooks, and electronic systems in accordance with GLP and GMP requirements.Accurately utilize laboratory information systems and analytical software.Conduct analytical testing using techniques such as HPLC, GC, and other laboratory instrumentation.Interpret analytical results and ensure accurate documentation and data integrity.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, KPI reporting, audits, inspections, and regulatory investigations.Promote a strong culture of quality, compliance, safety, and operational excellence.Ensure compliance with all GMP, HSE, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.We are looking to recruit a Candidate:\nEducation\nBachelor's degree (or equivalent) in:Chemistry\nChemical Engineering\nPharmaceutical Sciences\nBiochemistry\nHealth Sciences\nRelated scientific discipline\n\nExperience\nExperience or training within a Quality Control laboratory environment.\nHands-on experience in Analytical Chemistry and QC activities preferred.\nExperience with method development, validation, and transfer is advantageous.\nWorking knowledge of GMP and ICH guidelines is desirable.\nTechnical Skills\nKnowledge of analytical techniques including:HPLC\nGC\nOther chromatographic and analytical methodologies\n\nFamiliarity with Empower software is preferred.\nStrong understanding of analytical chemistry principles, laboratory practices, and GMP requirements.\nExperience with laboratory information management systems and electronic documentation.\nCompetencies\nStrong attention to detail and documentation skills.\nExcellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.\nAbility to work effectively in cross-functional teams.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\nProactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach.\nCommitment to quality, compliance, and safety.\nAdditional Requirements\nFluency in English.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to work in accordance with GMP, HSE, and regulatory standards\nHovione is a proud Equal Opportunity Employer\nInclusion and diversity are key to us.
