Reporting services include running regular reports (downloading data, manipulating report content, providing final output) and providing reporting consultancy services (revamping of complex reports, automating reports, developing new reports). Also, part of the task is to streamline and automate processes and reports as much as possible, using the existing knowledge base and toolset.\nHowmet is looking for an Analyst to support its Data & Reporting team:\nKey activities:\nProvide monthly, weekly, daily or ad-hoc reports to internal customers in the Shared Services organization and in various Business Locations of Howmet globally\nSupport special projects, reporting, analysis and process improvements.\nAssist in integration of the non-Oracle locations (e.g. SAP) into the Howmet reporting system.\nAssist customers and peer organizations with improving existing and developing new queries and reports (Discoverer, SQL, manual, etc.)\nCreate, review and maintain process descriptions\nComply with Audit requirements of the corporation\nMaintain/document knowledge for automated reports\nManaging Customer requests in US time zone\nKeep high quality by implementing checkpoints/controls on reports and automation initiatives\nEducation, experience and skills:\nBasic:\nUniversity or College degree\nExperienced with MS Excel, Access, Word, other office software as well as application databases and SQL\nCommunication skills (writing and speaking), Fluent English\nLogical and analytical mind\nWord processing and typing skills\nWillingness to partially work afternoon shifts (1 week per month)\nPreferred:\nExperience in Management Reporting\nVBA or other programming language skills\nAble to evaluate and resolve problems by setting priorities and to adapt quickly to new situations if
