# CNC Programmer

Position Summary: The CNC Programmer will create and verify machining programs for 3-5 axis CNC machining centers, support the development of touch probe programs, develop and maintain machining processes, and provide tool lists and machine setup instructions to the shop floor. Additionally, they will participate in machining fixture and cutting tool design and development, cost reduction projects and develop relevant documentation. Key Responsibilities: Create and verify machining programs for 3-5-axis CNC machining centers working from blueprints and 3D models. Support the development of touch probe procedures and programs used for on-machine verification and inspection. Develop and maintain machining process documentation, including tool lists and setup instructions provided to the shop floor. Participate in machine fixture and cutting tool design and development. Participate in cost reduction projects related to CNC programming. Document best practices, procedures, and programs. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, adhering to 5S/6S principles. Other duties as assigned.
