The available shift hours are 2nd shift, M-F 3pm-11pm and 3rd shift, M-F 11pm-7am. Training is 1st shift, M-F 7am-3pm.\nNew Hire Starting Rate: $39.02 p/hr.\nThis position will receive an hourly “shift premium” of $1.00 p/hr. while assigned to an off shift.\nJob Summary: The Electrician installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.\nEssential Functions & Job Responsibilities:\nAbility to read and follow the information on printed work instructions.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics.\nRecords data either manually or by computer as required.\nUtilizes Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedure to ensure zero energy state. \nInstalls conduit and field wiring for all electrical systems within the facility. \nConnects power supply wires to machines and equipment. Connect cables and wires between machines and subsystem equipment (pumps/valves/sensors).\nDiagnoses malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wire and cables.\nTests malfunctioning machinery and work with other maintenance personnel to diagnose malfunction root causes.\nAbility to effectively use various electrical troubleshooting devices, including ammeters, voltmeters, meggers, thermal scanners and cable testers.\nReplaces faulty electrical components of machine, such as relays, switches, motors, and positions sensing devices.\nDiagnoses and repairs or replace faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards.\nReplace electric motors, check for proper rotation, and measure amperage.\nPlans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.\nDiagnoses and replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.\nMust comply with all company attendance policies and guidelines; this includes, but is not limited to, regular attendance and occasional overtime as needed.\nOther duties within the scope of the role as assigned by supervisory leadership.\n Basic Qualifications:\nAn application must include a resume and two professional references for review and consideration.\nThis position requires a minimum of an associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.\nThis position requires a minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience and/or training dealing with electrical systems.\nMust be available for all shifts as the schedule varies depending on site operational needs; flexibility is required.\nEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
