Nestled halfway between South Bend and Chicago, along the shores of Lake Michigan - our facility in La Porte, Indiana supplies jet engine components to some of the most trusted names in the Aerospace industry.\nThis position is responsible for the calibration, installation and repair of instrumentation hardware for assigned equipment, and also includes responsibility for heat treat and casting equipment operations.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nJob responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:\nUtilizes documentation and instructions to calibrate and install various types of instrumentation hardware within a manufacturing environment.\n\nInterprets and implements required specifications according to various industry and customer standards.\n\nEvaluates Activity Instructions to ensure instrumentation requirements are accurate and aligned with required specifications.\n\nWork closely with Process Owners and Level III Technicians to assure compliance to standards and customer requirements.\n\nMaintains and updates audit and calibration schedules to meet industry and customer standards.\n\nMaintains detailed documentation as required in order to meet various audit, customer and industry requirements.\n\nMaintains and procures applicable calibration tools and standards necessary to maintain the instrumentation.\n\nLead and assist with equipment troubleshooting, installations, repairs and rebuilds.\n\nTrain others in instrumentation and equipment fundamentals.\n\nBe available for call-in and other changes in normal scheduling.\n\n BASIC QUALIFICATIONS\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\n3 years’ experience working with up to 480-volt control, PLC, hydraulic, pneumatic and fabrication in an industrial setting.\nEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
