This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective execution of maintenance activities to maximize plant reliability, efficiency, and safety.\nJob Responsibilities:\n(May include, but are not limited to, the following)\nPlanning & Scheduling\nDevelop detailed job plans for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.\nCreate and maintain daily, weekly, and long-term maintenance schedules using a Computerized Maintenance or similar system.\nReview incoming work requests and convert them into planned jobs with task sequences, labor requirements, estimated durations, materials, tools, and safety procedures.\nPrioritize work orders in collaboration with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams.\nCoordinate with production planners to schedule maintenance activities during optimal equipment downtime.\nEnsure the timely procurement and staging of all necessary materials, tools, and equipment prior to job execution.\nCMMS and Data Management\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CMMS, including equipment history, job plans, labor records, and materials used.\n\nMonitor backlog of maintenance work and ensure all work is captured and scheduled accordingly.\n\nAnalyze maintenance trends and performance data to improve plan effectiveness and equipment reliability.\n\nGenerate & Create regular reports for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Schedule Compliance (%)\nPlanned vs. Unplanned Work Ratio\nMaintenance Backlog (Work Orders)\nPM Completion Rate\nMean Time Between Failure (MTBF)\nWrench Time\nFound Work from PM Inspections\n\nMaterials and Resources\nWork closely with the storeroom and procurement vendor(s) to ensure availability of parts and maintain minimum inventory levels.\n\nMaintain, modify and create new standard job plans (Model Work Orders) for recurring maintenance tasks.\n\nIdentify, optimize and manage critical spare parts associated with critical equipment.\n\nSafety & Compliance\nEnsure all maintenance plans including job safety analysis (JSA), lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, comply with plant safety policies.\n\nCommunication & Coordination\nParticipate in daily and weekly maintenance planning meetings with operations and maintenance teams.\n\nAct as a liaison between maintenance, engineering, production, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination of scheduled activities.\n\nCommunicate schedule updates and modifications to all relevant stakeholders.\n\nBasic Qualifications\nAssociate or higher degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related technical fields.\n2 years of experience in maintenance planning/scheduling within a manufacturing or industrial environment.\nEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.\nThis position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.\nPreferred Qualifications\nTechnical certifications or trades training (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation) a plus.\n5+ years' experience in maintenance planning/scheduling within a manufacturing or industrial environment.\nProficiency with CMMS systems (e.g. MP2, eMaint, Infor EAM).\nExperience with lean manufacturing, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), or RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) principles is desirable.\nProficiency with SharePoint, Power Automate, Teams and other Microsoft 365 apps.\nStrong knowledge in maintenance practices, industrial equipment, and parts management.\nAbility to interpret drawings from all engineering disciplines, codes, and similar materials.\nBasic knowledge and understanding of industrial mechanical and electrical systems.\nAbility to effectively communicate ideas to peers and senior staff.\nProficiency with Office 365.\nWorking Conditions\nThis is an on-site position based primarily in the office, with frequent time spent on the factory floor.
