This position supervises the NES Maintenance workforce.\nEssential Functions\nFollow Howmet’s Safety Regulation and Work Rules Handbook along with all department specific safety requirements.\nHires and trains maintenance department staff.\nOrganizes and oversees the schedules and work of maintenance staff.\nConducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. \nHandles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy. \nJob Responsibilities\nJob responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:\nOversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.\nEvaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.\nAssesses building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules.\nDevelops maintenance procedures and schedules.\nEnsures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.\nAssists with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects.\nManage the exchange of information between the Maintenance shifts.\nManage maintenance and facility related projects.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\n Basic Qualifications\nThis position requires a High School diploma or equivalent.\nThis position requires a minimum of three years of related work experience.\nEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
