The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance duties and resources to ensure timely and efficient completion of maintenance tasks and providing subject-matter expertise for various systems and machines related to repair, modification, and operational proficiency.\nRole and Responsibilities:\nGenerates unplanned work orders to address equipment issues as they arise\n\nCover Shop Call and tap changes as they arise\n\nComplete work orders and PMs assigned in timely manner\n\nMaintain logs of inspections, repairs, and parts used\n\nAssists Sr Technicians with projects\n\nWork With Contractors as required to perform work orders and PM’s\n\nReceive contractors as they arrive on-site and present defined site safety requirements\n\nEnsure work is in compliance with of all site safety policies including lockout/tagout, Confined Space, Contractor safety, Arc Flash, High/Low Voltage safety\n\nTroubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, breakers, and PLCs\n\nReplace defective components, rewire circuits, and install new equipment as needed\n\nEnsure all work complies with electrical codes (NEC, IEC)\n\nComplies with all EHS rules required for the work environment\n\nTest and calibrate instruments and safety devices such as circuit breakers, relays, fuses, respond to emergency outages and provide rapid on-site fixes to minimize downtime).\n\nPerform routine inspections of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and control panels\n\nUse multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation resistance testers to diagnose faults\n\nPerform other duties as assigned\n\n basic qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED\n\nMinimum 5 years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience\n\nFamiliarity with protective relays, motor starters, and variable frequency drives\n\nKnowledge of AC/DC motor control, PLC programming, and industrial automation\n\nEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.\n\nMust be able to lift 50 lbs.\nPhysical Demands: This is primarily a warehouse environment position. Sitting, standing and possibly heavy lifting may be required.
