This role develops, evaluates and enhances manufacturing methods for aerospace machined components, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, lean principles, assembly methods and quality control standards.\n Key Responsibilities:\nSupport manufacturing processes to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.\nAssist with creating and maintaining work instructions, routers, and standard operating procedures.\nSupport process changes, validations and shop-floor improvements.\nParticipating in NPI, FAI, and Continuous Improvement Projects.\nCollects and analyzes basic manufacturing data (cycle time, scrap rate, yield).\nReviews and implements manufacturing drawing and engineering change notices.\nSupport Cost-Reduction and Efficiency initiatives.\nParticipates in PFMEA, Process Capability, and RCCA studies\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (OR equivalent hands-on relevant experience will also be considered).\n\n1+ years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment\n\nStrong knowledge of CNC manufacturing and aerospace standards.\n\nExperience with AS9100 and NADCAP standards.\n\nKnowledge of GD&T, fixturing and gaging methods.\n\nStatistical process control experience in the aerospace industry.\n\nBasic Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite products, and strong knowledge of Solidworks or other modeling software.\n\nExperience in metal manufacturing, especially using titanium and/or nickel based superalloys.\n\nEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
