The work hours for this is a Midnight Shift position areSunday Night - Thursday Night 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM. (Per employee handbook);\nReport all Safety, Health & Environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner;\nAttend all EH&S training.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nCut castings from sprues or gates of cast clusters using the various pieces of cutting equipment assigned to the department. This includes wet saw, pull down, hand cut, Kalamazoo saws, automated saws, water jets, and similar equipment.\nMay work with various fixtures or gages; \nMay work with Plasma Arc cutting torch;\nMay work with Electric Arc burning torch.\nPerform alloy verification procedure (after certification is obtained);\nKeep scrap and spruing separate with proper identity;\nPerform K/O procedure and/or KOH soak/Core removal procedure, Water Hone or Sand Blast (cleaning) of castings when necessary;\nMaintain identity of castings through all operations;\nMaintain records as required;\nMaintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion; \nCut/Grind casting, remove sprues or gates from cast clusters using the cutting/grinding equipment assigned to the department;\nRequired to fulfill Shell Remover duties at times.\nJOB SPECIFICATIONS\nOther Skills/Abilities\nMust be able to communicate effectively (written and verbal) in English;\nMust be able to pass eye exam demonstrating the vision requirements needed for this job;\nRequired to obtain alloy verification certification.\n BASIC QUALIFICATIONS\nThis position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.\nEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
