Responsible for ensuring compliance to customer and Company quality system specifications and requirements.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This is not intended as a comprehensive list; it is intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities. Incumbent(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed, and may be required to perform additional, position-specific tasks.\nConduct internal and external quality audits including suppliers and other Howmet sites.\n\nParticipate and prepare for Customer and 3rd Party audits.\n\nApply Lean Manufacturing principles to drive improvement in site metrics.\n\nProcess, investigate cause of RMA's (customer returns) and quality escapes;\n\nInterface, investigate and complete both internal and external corrective actions;\n\nEnsure compliance to Howmet and customer quality system requirements;\n\nReview customer and industry standard specifications, develop gap analysis and assist in implementing changes;\n\nPerform quality review and disposition of non-conforming material and generate corresponding reports\nMust be able to read blueprints and generate sketches of dimensional non-conforming material\nMay require occasional travel\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\n BASIC QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.\n\nMinimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.\n\nThis position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant’s ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.\n\nEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nMust meet the requirements pertaining to Vision Acuity Testing under the Quality Assurance Manual.
