(Per employee handbook).\n\nReport all Safety, Health & Environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.\n\nAttend all EH&S training.\n\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nEssential Job Functions\nThis position reports to the Senior Quality Engineer and is responsible for supporting all Quality Engineers in performing their duties.\n\nAssist quality engineers in preparation of process approval packages,concessions, MRB submittals, dimensional reports, etc.\n\nLead the submittal of SPS and eCav documents for GE.\n\nMaintain current access to customer web portals.\n\nSupport Quality Engineers with updates to various logs such as shipper logs, concession logs, GX Release Log, and other data collection logs as needed.\n\nSupport Quality Engineer team with mold sheet releases, product criteria updates, and quality alerts.\n\nParticipate in customer calls as needed. Directly contact customer counterparts when needed.\n\nServe as a Quality Assurance resource in manufacturing to ensure products meet the customer requirements. This may include but is not limited to the following: visual inspection, data collection and review, gauge operation, and wax pattern review. Operate gauges and other inspection equipment, including but not limited to calipers and pin gauges.\n\nUnderstand and interpret product criteria, activity instructions, and business operating procedures. Participate in product criteria and activity instruction revisions to verify product and processes meet customer and quality requirements.\n\nUndergo training and become a qualified internal auditor. Conduct audits to ensure processes and systems are in control and meet the requirements of AS9100.\n\nWork with cross-functional teams to solve problems and address quality related issues, including scrap, rework, and customer returns.\n\nPerform activities related to the MRB / non-conforming material control process and comply with area process flow.\n\nPerform additional duties as required.\n\nJOB SPECIFICATIONS\nOther Skills/Abilities\nThis job has frequent internal contact with management, manufacturing, sales and engineering.External contact includes frequent communication with customers and strong communication skills are needed for this position.\n\n BASIC QUALIFICATIONS\nThis position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.\n\nEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.\n\nHigh School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.\n\nNo relocation benefit is offered for this position. Candidates residing within a 50 miles radius of Dover NJ will only be considered.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\n2-year Associate’s Degree or equivalent related experience.\n\nKnowledge of AS9100.\n\nExperience with different quality tools utilized for root cause corrective action problem solving.\n\nProficient computer skills, including word processing and email as well as the basic use of spreadsheets and electronic presentations.\n\nOral and written communication skills.\n\nAbility to Attain Information - Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.\n\nInspecting Material - Inspecting materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
