This role partners closely with executive leadership, operations, engineering, quality, and production teams to drive organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, employee engagement, compliance, talent acquisition, and performance management for a non-union employee population.\nThe ideal candidate will possess strong experience supporting manufacturing operations, employee relations, compliance, leadership coaching, and workforce development within highly regulated industrial environments. This positions also has two direct reports that will help to support the Fullerton HR team.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nPartner with senior leadership to align HR strategies with operational and business objectives.\n\nCoordinates weekly non-exempt payroll, managing timecards in workbrain and preparing/reviewing payroll files. Coordinates exempt monthly payroll file.\n\nLead workforce planning initiatives to support production schedules, staffing needs, and organizational growth.\nDevelop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices that support operational excellence and employee engagement.\nServe as a strategic advisor to leaders on employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and change management initiatives.\nLead and conduct employee relations investigations involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace misconduct, and policy violations.\nProvide guidance and coaching to managers on performance management, corrective actions, conflict resolution, and employee development.\nEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, EEO, and wage and hour regulations.\nSupport and reinforce a positive, respectful, and compliant workplace culture across a non-union workforce.\nPartner with Safety and Operations teams to maintain compliance with workplace safety standards and promote a strong safety culture.\nOversee full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried positions across manufacturing, engineering, quality, maintenance, and operations.\nDevelop talent pipelines and retention strategies for skilled manufacturing and technical roles.\n\nLead onboarding, employee engagement, and retention initiatives to improve workforce stability and employee experience.\n\nSupport succession planning and leadership development efforts across departments.\n\nManage performance evaluation processes and support leadership with coaching and employee accountability initiatives\n\nPromote continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.\n\nAnalyze HR metrics including turnover, absenteeism, staffing trends, and employee engagement data to support business decisions.\n\nMay perform other duties as assigned or within scope.\n Bachelor's degree in an appropriate Human Resources discipline (or other) and 5 years of relevant experience.\nBilingual in Spanish preferred.\nExperience influencing at all levels and developing an internal network to gain support for HR initiatives.\nDemonstrated strategic orientation, business acumen, problem solving and analytical skills\nDemonstrated leadership and team building experience.\nDemonstrated experience in employee relations, problem solving and conflict resolution experience.\nExperience with navigating cultural and business sensitivities to champion performance, and employee engagement.\nMust have personal integrity, exceptional communications skills, and the ability to build strong relationships.\nPrior Human Resources Management experience is preferred.\nWorkbrain experience is preferred.\nManufacturing experience required, preferred in Aerospace but not required.\nThe position includes competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance (medical, dental, vision), excellent 401k matching program, paid holidays and vacation.
