The program focuses on building a strong foundation with exposure to different parts of our Engines business unit. Individuals will participate in three rotations, lasting six months each. Assignments are cross-functional & based on the individual skills as well as the needs of the organization. During the final rotation, the candidate will seek out a current full-time opening for a permanent position at one of the Howmet Engines facilities.\n*Candidates must be willing to relocate during the 18 month program*\nWhere Will This Position Be? The three assignments will be in different plants among the following cities:\nDover, NJ (2 facilities)\nHampton, VA (2 facilities)\nLa Porte, IN\nMorristown, TN\nWichita Falls, TX\nWhitehall, MI (6 facilities)\nDaily responsibilities are based on the specific rotation. They can include the following:\nBuild tools to provide data-informed insights used across various aspects of our advanced manufacturing environments\nAnalyze and disseminate diverse data streams and factors to relevant audiences\nProvide actionable recommendations based on synthesis and interpretation of data\nServe as link between information and application functions\nCreate and monitor standardized systems of gathering, understanding and sharing data\nHelp drive a data-driven culture across the organization with interactions across multiple levels of the organization from engineering leaders to production operators\nBasic Qualifications\nPursuing a BS or MS in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Statistics from an accredited institution with a Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 graduation date\nPrevious internship or co-op in data analytics/science or computer science is required\nCandidates must be willing to relocate during the program\nEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position\nThis position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicants ability to lawfully obtain access to such items\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment highly desired\nStrong desire to work in an advanced manufacturing environment\nExcellent written and oral communication skills\nAbility to work in a self-directed and cross-functional team environment\nStrong organizational skills and detailed -oriented\nWorking knowledge of statistical analysis.
