Our products are used nose to tail on commercial and military aircraft, as well as on jet engines, industrial gas turbines, automobiles, commercial transportation vehicles, wind turbines, solar power systems, and construction and industrial equipment.\nWorks directly with Product Manager and Pricing Analyst to support product market analysis, pricing and strategy development by performing the following duties.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\nCreate, run, and analyze various reports.\nEstablish improvement methods for implementing price curve adjustments to account for changes in material & labor.\nDevelop integrated tools and processes to aid in spot market quoting and LTA development activity.\nInsure that the contract database is current and provide monthly reports summarizing market/margin opportunities.\nDevelop product pricing.\nInvolved in creation of product strategy development.\nInteract with Methods, IT, Finance, and Engineering personnel in performing daily duties.\nInterfaces with customer business teams, service, finance and manufacturing division for most effective and profitable marketing of new products.\nDevelops technical opinions and estimates of time and costs of new product development and oversees all activities relative to the development of potentially profitable products.\nDetermines criteria used in screening new product ideas and prepares complete proposals for management action.\nEvaluates, coordinates and recommends ideas and suggestions for new products, evaluates market opportunities and effect on market for products, and recommends exploitation of economically attractive products.\nDevelops and recommends marketing objectives, including sales volume and profit forecasts.\nSupports market development and sales promotion and is responsible for pricing policies for assigned product or products.\nPrepares sales forecasts for use in planning manufacturing operations and controlling inventories.\nManages, plans, initiates, sustains, oversees and implements modifications of assigned product or products.\nMaintains contact with the customer business teams to monitor trends and keep informed of sales force needs.\nReviews complaints and suggestions relative to assigned product or products.\nParticipates in the preparation of advertising programs for the assigned product or products and supervises market research. Develops and recommends new product concepts.\nFacilitates production planning, being the liaison between the customer and manufacturing.\nStrives to increase profitability of product lines through pricing and/or or cost control.\nCoordinates all customer visits and interfaces with them for specific needs.\nPerform all other duties as assigned or needed\nSkills:\nExcellent analytical skills: synthesizes complex or diverse information, collects and researches data, uses\nintuition and experience to complement data\nExcellent problem-solving skills: gathers and analyzes information skillfully, identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner\nAbility to work independently, prioritizing and completing multiple work assignments with minimal direction.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills; ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.\nExcellent computer skills including the use of spreadsheets and data base software\nSolid interpersonal and customer service skills - Manages difficult or emotional customer situations, responds promptly to customer needs and meets commitments.\nTeamwork - Balances team and individual responsibilities.\nProfessionalism - Reacts well under pressure; Follows through on commitments.\nQuality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality.\nQuantity - Completes work in timely manner.\nDependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Keeps commitments\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree from an accredited Institution\nMinimum 3 years of Analytical experience\nStrong Excel and SQL Skills \nComplex data modeling experience\nEmployee must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
