This position is located at our aerospace forged rings manufacturing plant in Rancho Cucamonga, California and will involve working collaboratively with Metallurgical and Design Engineers, Operations and other office personnel to improve processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, and improve quality of the product to ensure customer requirements are met.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : This is not intended as a comprehensive list; it is intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities. Incumbent(s) may not be required to perform all duties listed, and may be required to perform additional, position-specific tasks.\nDevelop, modify, improve, and troubleshoot the dimensional processes associated with the production of seamless rolled rings and other open-die forgings.\n\nInvestigate and conduct experiments concerned with physical characteristics, properties, and processing of metals to develop methods of commercially manufacturing forgings from primarily Ferrous, Aluminum, Titanium and Nickel base alloys.\n\nConsult with Metallurgical and Design Engineers andtheOperations personnel to develop methods of manufacturing at minimum costs, and to implement robust shop floor instructions.\n\nSupport Continuous Improvement and Cost Reduction activities as directed.\n\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration from an accredited institution.\n\nMinimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or industrial environment.\n\nThis position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.\n\nEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
