Track and publish supplier performance metrics.\nParticipate in the proposal estimating process by providing timely and accurate quotes to Sales & Marketing and work closely with Engineering on make/buy decisions and design changes. \nNegotiate and settle damage claims, rejections, losses, return of materials, over- shipments, cancellations and engineering changes with suppliers. Participate on the Material Review Board.\nIdentify continuous improvement opportunities and initiate efforts in order to implement LEAN principles throughout the organization \nOther duties as assigned.\n Required Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Business Management or related field.\nMinimum two years relevant experience.\nExperience utilizing MRP and ERP systems.\nExperience with MS Office.\nEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position;\nThis position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in a precision machine shop environment.\nKnowledge of commodities and suppliers in the manufacturing sector.\nRaw material, hardware, and indirect procurement experience.\nExperience with IFS ERP system\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\nExperience working within an ISO environment.\nDemonstrated negotiation and analytical skills.\nLEAN / Six Sigma training and demonstrated application.\nStrong interpersonal and teamwork skills.\nBenefits/Salary:\nThe position includes competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance (medical, dental, vision), excellent 401k matching program, paid holidays and vacation.
