Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will drive AI-native feature development and turn complex user needs into shipped production code.\nHere's what you can expect:\nA fast-paced, dynamic scale-up environment with high growth ambitions\n\nAn exciting turning point where your work shapes the product for years to come\n\nHybrid/remote work environment in Finland or Spain\n\nAnnual compensation of 55-70k€\n\n50+ purpose-driven Howspacians working with you to unlock impact through collaborative learning!\n\nWhat you’ll do:\nIn this role, you will be working on both the core platform and new AI-powered workflows for our users, and organizations.\nImplementing full stack features across PHP, TypeScript/JavaScript\n\nCollaborating closely with product, design, and other engineers\n\nOrchestrate agents end-to-end: spec-first, AI-assisted planning, agentic execution, AI-assisted review, full-loop validation - you direct the work\n\nBuilding AI-assisted features into the Howspace platform\n\nDeveloping agentic and chatbot-based workflows for real production use\n\nDesigning APIs, building MCP-servers, integrations and background jobs\n\nImproving architecture, maintainability, reliability, and test coverage\n\nBuild the guardrails (specs, checks, validation loops) that make agents reliable, and catch output that's wrong even when it looks right\n\nBe part of the team that constantly reviews and improves agentic-development practices by sharing best practices and pushing the standard higher\n\nWhat you’ll bring:\nAdvanced software engineering background building production systems with PHP and JS/TS\n\nHands-on experience running end-to-end workflows with AI coding agents (Claude Code, ChatGPT/Codex, Cursor, Copilot)\n\nSharp engineering judgment to review agent output, debug edge cases, and own final code quality\n\nAbility to operate across the full stack, from backend logic to clean UI components\n\nAutonomous, outcome-driven mindset with clear communication in a hybrid team\n\nExperience in L&D or HR tech space is a plus\n\nTypically requires 5+ years of software engineering experience in high-growth B2B SaaS\n\nFluent in English; additional languages are an advantage\n\nWe would love to hear from you!\nWe encourage you to send in your application as soon as possible, as we will go through the applications on an ongoing basis.
