failures.\nAssist with preventive maintenance activities as assigned.\nCalibration and Equipment Verification\nPerform basic calibration checks and verification activities according to documented procedures.\nEnsure measurement devices and machine settings are operating within established specifications.\nReport any calibration discrepancies to Maintenance or Engineering for correction.\nMaintain accurate calibration and verification records.\nTooling and Changeovers\nPerform tooling changes and machine setup adjustments to support production requirements.\nVerify proper installation and alignment of tooling.\nConduct first-piece inspections following tooling changes and machine setups.\nMinimize downtime during changeovers while maintaining safety and quality standards.\nTroubleshooting and Continuous Improvement\nPerform basic troubleshooting to resolve minor equipment issues.\nEscalate complex mechanical or electrical issues to Maintenance or Engineering.\nParticipate in root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.\nRecommend process and equipment improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.\nSafety and Quality\nFollow all company safety policies and procedures.\nUse required personal protective equipment (PPE).\nMaintain compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.\nSupport housekeeping efforts and 5S initiatives.\nClosed-toe shoe required\nMust use proper ergonomics when lifting\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nPLC knowledge preferred.\nPrevious manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.\nExperience with autonomous maintenance practices is preferred.\nExperience performing machine cleaning, inspections, tooling changes, and calibration verification preferred.\nAbility to read and follow work instructions, procedures, and technical documentation.\nBasic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.\nAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.\n\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).\nFamiliarity with calibration equipment and measurement tools.\nExperience performing machine setups and tooling changeovers.\nBasic computer skills for production and maintenance
