As part of this transformation, we help Print Service Providers streamline the manufacture of books, business cards, packaging, photos, posters, signage, and almost anything else that can be printed.\nAt HP, Business Intelligence plays a critical role in providing the right data and insights to support business decisions and operations management.\nWe are looking for a Business Intelligence Data Analyst Intern to join and support the WW Industrial Print Services organization (IPCS).\nAs a BI Developer and Data Analyst Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of reports and dashboards used to monitor company, product, and business performance and KPIs.\nYou will work alongside team members and stakeholders from across the world, gaining hands-on experience in developing BI solutions, supporting BI systems, and addressing ongoing business analysis needs.\nThis includes learning how to understand and identify relevant data sources, extract and process data, and transform it into meaningful insights and visual representations using BI platforms such as Tableau and Power BI.\nJob Responsibilities\nDashboard Development: Support the creation and improvement of dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI and/or Tableau, helping translate data into clear business insights.\nData Gathering and Analysis: Gather, clean, transform, and analyze data from different sources with support from the team.\nRequirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and help translate them into dashboard and reporting requirements.\nDashboard Maintenance: Support the monitoring and maintenance of existing dashboards, including data validation and quality checks.\nDocumentation: Document data sources, methodologies, and dashboard specifications to ensure transparency and reproducibility.\nUser Support: Assist users in understanding dashboards, reports, and key business metrics.\nContinuous Learning: Develop your Business Intelligence and analytics skills by learning new technologies, methodologies, and industry trends.\nEducation and Experience Required\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or another related field.\nAcademic or project-based exposure to databases, SQL, and/or Python for data extraction, analysis, or manipulation.\nFamiliarity with Power BI and/or Tableau, gained through coursework, university projects, personal projects, or previous internship experience.\nBasic understanding of data analysis, visualization, and Business Intelligence concepts.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Excel is a plus.\nExposure to data mining, machine learning, or predictive analytics through coursework or projects is a plus.\nExposure to AWS or other cloud-based solutions is a plus.\nBasic understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts is a plus.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in working with data.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.
