The Allocation Manager is responsible for developing and executing allocation strategies for critical technology commodities including CPUs, DRAM/Memory, and SSDs. The role ensures optimal utilization of constrained supply, alignment of supply with business priorities, mitigation of supply risks, and achievement of revenue and customer fulfilment objectives across regions, markets, and product categories.\nThis position serves as the primary bridge between Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Procurement, Product Management, Business Management, Fulfilment, and Sales organizations to ensure effective allocation decisions during periods of supply constraints and changing market conditions\nAnalyze demand vs supply: Aligning with commodity planning, track key feature values on coverage. Create playbook during low coverage and excess situation to help communication to markets and drive actions. Work with procurement on creating an anecdotal feedback on long term supply and understand commodity roadmap. Anticipate E&O and aging risk; create a process of communication on excess risk\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and manage global allocation plans for CPUs, SSDs, and Memory commodities.\nEstablish allocation methodologies based on business priorities, customer commitments, strategic initiatives, profitability, and market requirements.\nMonitor allocation consumption and adjust plans dynamically to maximise business outcomes.\nDefine and execute hard and soft allocation policies during constrained supply situations.\nLead commodity allocation reviews with stakeholders on a weekly and monthly cadence.Develops recommendations from complex data and business analysis and formulates them into business plans.\nDrives the construction of highly innovative statistical and financial models to analyze new aspects of business performance.\nEstablishes the metrics required to measure business performance, and recommends the go-forward strategy to address performance gaps.\nLeads highly complex, time-sensitive market research projects and identifies compelling trends and opportunities for business leaders.\nStaffs and manages cross-functional teams across the entire span of business planning activities.\nDrives all aspects of priority projects and makes final team decisions; develops business plans and proactively identifies new opportunities as partners with client business leaders.\nDevelops and drives comprehensive business plan recommendations, based on analysis, emerging trends, and experience.\nIdentifies or develops cutting-edge analytical tools, models, and methods for making key business decisions.\nCounsels business leaders, recommends approaches for executing high-level strategies and develops creative solutions.\nDevelops and executes forward-thinking strategies for building and nurturing long-term business relationships.
