As part of the Collaboration Solutions business unit you will be responsible for the strategic planning that brings maximum awareness to HP’s collaboration solutions through our events presence, as well as tactical execution and project management. You will be the lead on some events, while coordinating with other teams on larger events to ensure our collaboration solutions are strongly represented with high impact demos and narratives.\nResponsibilities\nLead overall event strategy and execution for the HP Collaboration Solutions business unit:\nMaintain an in-depth knowledge of the Collaboration Solutions products portfolio-wide, including key benefits, capabilities and use cases\nUnderstand the business strategy, solutions and roadmap to ensure the event strategy is aligned\nCoordinate with product leads to understand new launches and announcements and strategize on how to maximize impact at launch events\nProvide product recommendations in strategic projects, including global customer welcome centers and additional showcase experiences\nManage event logistics and operational execution, including inventory management, product sourcing, shipping coordination and fulfillment\nDrive the Collaboration Solutions presence at pan-HP events industry, partner and launch events:\nChampion the Collaboration Solutions presence, ensuring our solutions are prominently and accurately positioned within the broader HP story and event strategy, and coordinating with broader events team\nWork with GBU product marketing team to define key demos, story lines and narratives\nPlan and execute on logistics of products to and from event\nLead breakout session planning to drive content development and reviews with presenters and leadership\nPartner with broader events team for execution of larger flagship collaboration events:\nWork with WW Marketing events manager on large industry events with a collaboration focus\nIdentify the essential demos and solutions in the booth with key stakeholders\nEnsure booth demo experiences amplify our differentiated story and overall HP narrative\nIdentify product sourcing and assist with shipments\nCoordinate with other business units to source demos and products that bring the broader HP story to life\nOrganize and lead the Collaboration Solutions strategy and plan for a broad range of other internal and external events:\nLead the workstream calls, content planning, rehearsals for general sessions and breakout sessions where needed\nLead product showcase coordination to identify the right scope of demos and solutions depending on the strategic focus of that specific event\nOnsite support for presentation sessions, showcases and product demo areas\nFor focused GBU-led events, also driving broader event planning, venue and hotel sourcing, budgeting and overall logistics\nEducation & Experience Recommended\nBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field\n3+ years experience running event strategy and logistics\nExceptional project management and communication skills\nPrevious tech industry experience is ideal, especially tech hardware and devices\nHighly organized with strong project management skills, able to multi-task and keep multiple projects and events with concurrent deadlines moving forward in parallel\nDemonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across functional teams and at various organizational levels.\nComfort working in fast-paced, dynamic, and cross-functional environments.\nAble to create presentation content and materials that tell a solution story and strong product narrative beyond product features and specs.\nKnowledge & Skills\nStrategic Thinker: Ability to see the big picture and how our event strategy aligns to business unit and company-wide goals.\nStorytelling: Skilled at crafting and sharing stories that drive connection, motivation, and understanding among diverse audiences.\nRelationship Building: Adept at forging trusting partnerships with leaders, peers, and employees across business units and at all levels of the organization.\nProblem Solving: Resourceful and proactive in addressing communication challenges and barriers to information flow.\nAdaptability: Open to change, feedback, and new technologies as the department and company grow and evolve.\nAttention to Detail: Ensures accuracy, clarity, and consistency in all communications.\nSalary\nThe pay range for this role is $83,000 to $127,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only).
