This role requires practical experience with Python scripting, data processing, PBI and automation tools to support financial data tracking and allocation processes.\nThe analyst works with internal stakeholders to address routine data needs, implement defined improvements, and troubleshoot existing workflows, with guidance from senior team members on complex issues.\nResponsibilities\nData Automation & Optimization: Develop and maintain automation for routine data flows using established tools and processes.\nScript Maintenance: Monitor, troubleshoot, and update existing Python scripts, Power Automate flows, and other data processing integrations. \nProcess Improvement: Identify recurring manual tasks and contribute to automation projects and process enhancements.\nCustomer Support: Assist internal customers with data requests, investigate issues, and communicate progress and resolutions clearly.\nData Validation & Reconciliation: Collect and follow up on missing data, perform checks and reconciliations, monitor data quality, and investigate discrepancies.\nMonth-End Support: Complete assigned data processing and validation activities, follow up on outstanding items, and support month-end close through completion.\nDocumentation: Maintain clear documentation of scripts, workflows, checks, and troubleshooting steps.\nKey Skills\nIntermediate proficiency: Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation.\nWorking proficiency: Python and Pandas for data cleaning, processing, and routine automation; Power Automate and Power Query for maintaining and improving workflows.\nBasic to intermediate proficiency: Power BI maintenance, including data refresh monitoring and routine report updates.\nDesirable: Basic finance knowledge and exposure to Azure services.\nExperience\n2-4 years of professional experience, including at least 1 years in data processing, automation, reporting, or a related role.\nHands-on experience maintaining scripts or automated workflows and troubleshooting routine data issues.\nEducation Qualification\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.\nKey Traits\nStrong analytical and practical problem-solving skills.\nDetail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable.\nCustomer-oriented, with clear communication skills.\nComfortable seeking guidance when needed.\nAdditional Information\nLocation: Mexico\nRequires collaboration across time zones.\nWe seek a tech-savvy professional with practical automation experience, strong analytical skills, and a basic understanding of financial concepts.
