You must also be available to start the internship in February 2027 and continue participating in the program until June-July 2027.\nJob Summary\nThe Data Scientist Intern - Supplier Management Analytics & AI supports the Global Supplier Management organization by developing analytical solutions, AI-enabled capabilities, and reporting automation that improve supplier governance, performance management, commercial decision-making, and operational efficiency.\nThe role works closely with the Global Supplier Management Lead, Vendor Account Managers (VAMs), Operations, Procurement, Finance, and other stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights. The intern will contribute to strategic initiatives involving advanced analytics, business intelligence, forecasting, process automation, and Generative AI.\nThis position provides hands-on experience at the intersection of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, and Supplier Management within a global enterprise environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nAnalytics & Business Intelligence\nDevelop and maintain Power BI dashboards and executive reporting solutions.\nAnalyze supplier, financial, commercial, and operational data to identify trends and opportunities.\nBuild KPI, SLA, and supplier performance scorecards.\nSupport QBRs, governance reviews, and executive presentations with data-driven insights.\nPerform ad hoc analyses to support strategic business decisions.\nEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and reporting quality.\nAI & Automation\nIdentify opportunities to automate manual processes using AI and Power Platform tools.\nDevelop prototypes using Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, Python, and Machine Learning techniques.\nSupport implementation of predictive analytics and forecasting models.\nAutomate reporting, data preparation, and governance activities.\nExplore innovative uses of AI to improve supplier management effectiveness and team productivity.\nBusiness & Strategic Support\nSupport Vendor Account Managers in supplier performance and commercial analyses.\nAssist with spend analysis, benchmarking, rate competitiveness, and cost optimization initiatives.\nHelp prepare business cases, executive summaries, and strategic recommendations.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives across the supplier management organization.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Business Management.\nQualifications\nRequired\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in:Data Science\nComputer Science\nStatistics\nMathematics\nEngineering\nBusiness Analytics\nRelated field\n\nKnowledge of:Python\nSQL\nMicrosoft Excel\nData Visualization principles\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills.\nAbility to work independently in a fast-paced global environment.\nPreferred\nExperience with Power BI.\nExperience with Microsoft Power Platform.\nFamiliarity with Machine Learning concepts.\nExposure to Generative AI technologies.\nKnowledge of Azure, Databricks, or cloud analytics platforms.\nUnderstanding of procurement, supplier management, or business operations processes.\nTechnical Skills\nPython\nSQL\nPower BI\nExcel\nData Modeling\nData Visualization\nStatistical Analysis\nMachine Learning Fundamentals\nGenerative AI\nMicrosoft Copilot\nPower Automate\nData Storytelling\nSuccess Measures\nAdoption and business impact of dashboards and analytical solutions.\nReduction in manual reporting effort through automation.\nImproved visibility of supplier performance and commercial metrics.\nDelivery of actionable insights supporting management decisions.\nSuccessful implementation of AI-enabled productivity enhancements.\nPositive stakeholder feedback from VAMs and leadership teams.\nWhy This Role Matters\nThis role acts as the analytics and AI accelerator for the Supplier Management organization, enabling leaders and Vendor Account Managers to spend less time collecting data and more time driving supplier performance, governance excellence, risk reduction, and business value.\nExperience our benefits:\nPaid internship within a global, technology driven company. \nJoin an international work environment, with opportunities for learning, professional development, and networking across teams. \nFlexible working schedule, with options for part-time agreements (4 hours/day) or full-time (8 hours/day).
